For some reason I have a hard time remembering how to make those two types of increases, and I always have to pull out my dictionary. With Cat's daughter-mother-grandmother concept, I don't think I will ever forget!

Rebekah
http://www.artandneedlework.blogspot.comRebekahhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12937704182716495968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7659360650582709851.post-80650034316188973842011-03-04T18:21:07.066-06:002011-03-04T18:21:07.066-06:00Your dog is too cute!

So Barbara, you are not alone. LOL

I think it really depends upon your type of cast on you do. I always do long-tail and I have never thought it made a difference enough to bother. :)Tashahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11368418516615371972noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7659360650582709851.post-36537057588149472482011-03-04T14:04:33.493-06:002011-03-04T14:04:33.493-06:00These directions are fantastic (seriously, all of ...These directions are fantastic (seriously, all of the instructions have been phenomenal)! I had CO on the 1st, and then had to stop until today. Glad that I did or I probably would have repeated Moxie's oversight of knitting into the front of the first row. Off to play catch up right now!! (back of first row, back of first row...lol)

Give Pia a nice scratch - she's too adorable!Biddygirlhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/12238747483342134925noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7659360650582709851.post-55738047461014435322011-03-04T12:53:30.933-06:002011-03-04T12:53:30.933-06:00Pia is cute as a button! I finished my ribbing last night and would have made good progress on the stockingette except that I can't find the paper that had all my scribbled notes from your sizing post.Andreahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03703375641957058876noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7659360650582709851.post-42534822353828724392011-03-04T12:35:51.326-06:002011-03-04T12:35:51.326-06:00I love that Pia has her tongue sticking out, Moxie...I love that Pia has her tongue sticking out, Moxie does that too and it's just too adorable!

I had a full row of ribbing knitted when I realized I was knitting K2, P2!! UGH! My last few projects have been that, so I think my brain just went into autopilot. Started all over, and realized that I forgot to knit into the back of the stitches on the first row (good friggen grief Barbara, LOL!)but decided that probably wasn't worth starting all over again to fix. So as of now, a mere 2 rows knitted.

Thank you for the increase/decrease info. I had been contemplating how I was going to approach those, so it's nice to have all the options and some helpful hints all right here.Moxie Tonichttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11306402827007809895noreply@blogger.com
